We offer our neighbors in 14 zip codes access to emergency assistance services focused on preventing homelessness, hunger, and insecurity. MAC currently serves 14 zip codes in Atlanta – 30303, 30306, 30308, 30309, 30310, 30311, 30312, 30313, 30314, 30315, 30318, 30324, 30331 and 30363.

There are two sections below for Assistance – Financial (Rent and Utilities) and Non- Financial (Food, MARTA for jobs/interviews, New Worker clothing support, ID vouchers, etc.)

ASSISTANCE GUIDELINES

MAC has a client choice food pantry that provides non-perishable food and fresh meat and produce for households experiencing a temporary shortage. Our neighbors can choose the groceries that best meet their family’s needs.

MAC provides required uniform items including clothing, footwear, etc. needed for different industries including hospitality, construction, and service. We also provide MARTA cards to help with transportation to and from work.

MAC helps low-income, working households that are in a temporary financial crisis. Our assistance works to prevent eviction and disconnection of electricity, gas, and water.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON OUR SERVICES

Financial Assistance – Eviction Prevention

  • MAC is taking rent and utility assistance applications from ARCHI – Atlanta Regional Collaborative for Health Improvement.
  • ARCHI is working with multiple agencies to distribute rental assistance applications in the metro area.
  • We do not guarantee your application will get matched with MAC or another agency.
  • MAC will contact you directly if we receive your application.

MAC provides eviction prevention and utility disconnection prevention in 14 zip codes in Atlanta – 30303, 30306, 30308, 30309, 30310, 30311, 30312, 30313, 30314, 30315, 30318, 30324, 30331 and 30363. 

MAC does not help with move in rent, security deposits, shelter placement or housing placement.

*When giving assistance MAC never asks for money to be paid to MAC or any of our employees. We always have clients pay their portion directly to their landlord or utility company. Do not become a victim of scammers claiming otherwise.

  • This form is for food, MARTA, and other non-financial requests (not rent and utilities). 
  • If you are unable to complete an online form, we answer our Assistance line at 404-681-5777 on Tues, Wed and Thurs from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
